Most important is the master bathroom. Your day begins and ends in this room. When you can start your day in a relaxing beautiful atmosphere, your are more likely to have a more peaceful mind. Then when you are ready to retire the day, ending on that same note is priceless.

First, write down all your problems with the current kitchen. Then, write the things you like (if any) about the kitchen. Next, jot a list of your ideas of how to improve it and a list of materials your are interested in incorporating into this room. This information will be very useful when you sit down with your contractor. Nothing is left out in the initial visit. Of course things will be added or revised, but this gives you a great jumping off point in your exciting transformation.
